Notes....In '60, 'Summer Place' would stay at #1 through all of March and most of April as well, 9 straight weeks at the top...February '64 was exclusively the Beatles' month. No other tune even came close to making #1...Nancy Sinatra's ascension to the top o' the heap in '66 capped a nice promotional effort by father Frank's Reprise label to establish daughter Nancy's popularity with the kids. Especially the boys, who liked her knockout looks and signature white go-go boots.
