TOM SMITH

Yes, it's a large-size image, but yet befitting for a guy with a big heart.

Tom Smith (pictured with the lovely Jeanne Piriano Sigler) has had a love affair with radio all of his life. He first came into the business as a disk jockey, and worked hard to become a noted personality in the 70's and 80's in several markets in the Southeast United States.

A serious auto accident resulted in injuries to his larynx. Not to be deterred, Tom continued his career by learning about first the engineering side of the business and then, gaining IT expertise when technology moved radio into a new era.

All the while, he worked hard to regain vocal strength and resumed on-air duties over the years at stations in the Wiregrass area of Alabama.

Tom is a whiz at innovation and resourcefulness. We are glad to team up with him again as Ultimate Oldies Radio moves forward. In no small way, thanks to Tom.
